videos - songs - stories The Forest Voices Tour In March 2014, Global Music Exchange (GME) organised a pilot Forest Voices Tour. Baka musicians, Orchéstre Baka Gbiné were taken to 5 Baka communities around the Dja Reserve. The tour had an impact far greater than we could have imagined. The only criticism was that we didn't go to enough communities. With the help of OKANI, the only Baka run NGO in Cameroon, Forest Peoples Program, CED and many kind contributors, we remedied this with a bigger, better Forest Voices Tour in December 2015. We now need your help to finance the editing of the footage into a short film.
The 2 Forest Voices Tours so far have shown many Baka that they are not alone with their problems and have given them the chance to let their voices be heard. Help us put together the video of the 2015 tour and make the Baka's voices be heard. ![]() helping people help themselves through music reg charity no. 1057668 of the Forest Voices pilot tour HERE |
