March 15th 2014 After the concert at the High Commission we had a day off in Yaounde. Time to go to the markets and for all the Baka musicians to buy presents to take home. Unfortunately they also took the opportunity to buy the readily available sachets of "whiskey". Awful industrial alcohol with artificial flavourings and colourings that probably rot your brain. We heard rumours that these sachets were soon to be made illegal - I'll believe it when I see it. Apparently the man in charge of the business is one of the richest men in Cameroon.
